Senior Pastor
Called to ministry in 1983, Pastor Wright began as an evangelist and singer sharing the gospel across the nation. Since 1991 he has led this congregation with a contagious spirit of generosity and one clear vision: to build and develop a kingdom of empowered people for God. He helped establish three churches in Zimbabwe and supports The Fountain of Praise in Nigeria and Brazil.
Co-Pastor & Executive Director of Ministry
A respected pastor, author, leadership consultant and global advocate. Dr. Mia's TEDx talk “What's Your Unthinkable?” and her book Unthinkable challenge audiences to do the unordinary to experience the extraordinary. She leads Metamorphosis, Inc., transforming lives in the U.S., Brazil, Tanzania and South Africa.
Our journey
Founding members plant South Post Oak Baptist Church — a small mission church with a big vision.
Dr. Remus E. Wright is called to pastor. The congregation numbers 150.
The church purchases 19 acres on Hillcroft Avenue and becomes The Fountain of Praise — a name that captures our spirit of worship.
On July 27, the new sanctuary is dedicated to the glory of God, and a tremendous harvest follows.
The former Mainhill Center becomes the FountainLife Center.
100+ active ministries, two Sunday services and a global reach — reaching up, in and out.
